Hascaps are a rare #berry that tastes like a cross between a blueberry, a raspberry, and a blackberry. They grow in Hokkaido, and though they’re too delicate to travel, I got my hands on some fresh-frozen ones, and made both hascap-coconut sorbet and an unsweetened hascap syrup to use with toast, sparkling water, or yogurt.
