We talked about my upcoming Hiro Hattori novel, The Ninja’s Daughter, Japanese No theater, and the way that over-ritualization of storytelling may sometimes impede modern Christian worship. (Making it as impenetrable as some forms of Japanese theater are to a Western audience with no previous introduction.)
