No Salt? No Dice. And No Improvement, Either

I have just been informed that October 2-9 is official “No Salt Week” in the United States.

Permit me to share my opinion of this observance.

PFTHTHTHHTHTHTPPPP.

(Which is doubly merited, because raspberries are about the only thing I can stand to eat without salt.)

I am also informed that October 4 is national “Improve Your Office Day.”  As it happens, I like my office very much, particularly on mornings like this one when I have time to write, plenty of coffee, fresh half-and-half and no solicitors on the horizon.  Balloons and a pony would both represent improvements, but I guess you I can’t have everything.

How would you improve your office today?  Let me know in the comments.  And feel free to be snarky…I’ll take it with a grain of salt.

First, the little elves can show up and clean it for me, and then my muse can take over at the keyboard. Hmm. The bakery could drop off my favorite almond cake and promise me it won’t make my butt look big. Then I would like Derek Jeter to stop in for a chat. I’ve always wanted to meet him. Oh. And Pierce Brosnan can sit quietly in the corner. Yes. That would definitely improve my office.

I think my elves are on strike. I did bring in some sunflowers this morning, though, and that’s definitely an improvement. Among the things that can always make me smile are good coffee, sunflowers and cupcakes, and this morning I’ve got all three.
