This weekend, I’m participating in Authors on the Move, a charity dinner to benefit the Sacramento Public Library Foundation.
Literacy is a major issue in the United States, and libraries are instrumental in promoting and maintaining community literacy, especially among children.
Authors on the Move is Sacramento’s premier literary event, featuring dozens of featured authors (present company included!) – and this year’s keynote speaker is Daniel Handler (aka LEMONY SNICKET). If you live in the Sacramento area, I hope you’ll consider buying a ticket and attending this wonderful gala, which benefits the library. It’s going to be a “Once Upon a Time in a Lifetime” event!
