With the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday rapidly approaching (it’s Thursday, for those of you living abroad or domestic but lacking a calendar…) I have much to be thankful for this year:
I’m thrilled to announce that I just signed a two-book contract for the seventh and eighth Hiro Hattori mystery novels, which will publish in 2019 and 2020.
The sixth Hiro Hattori novel, Trial on Mount Kōya, is now finished–and scheduled for release by Seventh Street Books in July 2018. I completed the final edits this morning, and will be delivering the manuscript to my publisher before Thanksgiving Day! (Cause for celebration, indeed!)
I’m traveling to Japan next month (December 2017) to do some preliminary work on a BIG SURPRISE that I hope to reveal in January – along with the launch of my Ninja Newsletter (you can find the signup information on this website) that will include sneak peeks, special surprises, and periodic updates. I don’t plan to send it often, but when I do, it will be worth the read!
My family is here for Thanksgiving, so blogging will be light until next Monday, but stay tuned – I have a bunch of really cool surprises to share this winter!
Are you celebrating Thanksgiving? Whether the answer is yes or no: what are you thankful for this week?
My focus right now is that I am grateful for my BFF who is a wonderful cook! She is making a repast for Thanksgiving that we will hold to our hips, I mean which we will hold to our hearts and in our memories for decades!
Also very thankful that my son has been healthy enough to stay out of the hospital for most of the year!!!!
I love that you’re having such a great Thanksgiving feast!! I’m grateful that my mother is here to share Thanksgiving with me this year, and that I can spend the holiday surrounded by friends and family – as it sounds like you’ll be doing too. Congratulations on your son’s improved health too – that’s a true blessing to be grateful for!
I am very grateful that I have my husband to share the holiday with, and I have a few days off to enjoy his company. I also am thankful for the extra time to do some crafting, some writing, and LOTS of reading. Happy Thanksgiving!
Great things to be thankful for, indeed!
